About the Journalist
Daniel Barradell is a Producer and Video Journalist for Newswatch. He is 20 years old and is pursuing his fascination for the world of news and sports. He plans on becoming a technical director for sports events around the country.
His pursuit of news and sports began in high school at J. Percy Page; where he participated in a program called Page TV. Page Tv was a student ran news program that provided information on the daily events and programs around the school. He would show up everyday 45 minutes early to setup and do he job. He began as a Camera Operator in grade 10 and upgraded to TriCaster Operator in Grade 11 and finished off as a Director in Grade 11.
Daniel is currently studying Television at NAIT to further improve his skills related to videography and News and Sports.
Daniel would tell you that he isn't that much of a morning person. He is also interested in Hockey and plays the sport. He is a big gamer and has spent many hours playing video games to pass the time.
Daniel also works for the NAIT OOKS as a webcast operator to broadcast their hockey games. He also helps out with all the other technical positions as much as he can in order to make the show look as good as possible .
