About Me
Born and raised in Sherwood Park, Evan is enrolled in NAIT's Television Broadcasting Program, with the dream of being a sports reporter.
Evan feels like he never leaves school. When not learning, Evan is often still at NAIT, as the colour-commentator for the men's and women's hockey teams. Throughout Evan's short life he has had a couple different careers, including concrete lifting... he prides himself on raising concrete, and raising spirits!
As a young boy living in Canada everyone dreams of making it to the NHL. Evan realized he didn't have enough skill as a player, but he is still reaching to make it as part of the media. He still plays hockey, but now settles for Junior B in Sherwood Park, rather than the NHL.
In his free time Evan loves hanging with his friends, his family and his dog. His dog, Marley, is a 10 year old golden retriever. He loves her with all his heart, even though she can be a huge pain at times.
When Evan was the young age of seven, he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Because of the disease Evan has learnt some very important lessons. These include: perseverance, mental toughness and most importantly... never leave home without a juice box.
