About Me
Born and raised in Calamba City in the beautiful country of the Philippines, Margie Miranda moved to Canada to be with her mother. It was a big change for her but with new friends and support from her parents, she made Edmonton her home. She worked in food service for a year before realizing she wanted more. Margie decided to go back to school and with a passion for writing and broadcasting, she applied and got accepted for the Radio and Television program at NAIT.
Since starting the program, Margie Miranda has accomplished many things from doing news packages to producing a themed show. She has proven herself to be a fast-learner and a hard worker. She loves editing videos, especially the ones she shot. Margie continues to show her efficiency each semester by consistently producing strong content.
Currently, Margie Miranda is a reporter for NAIT NewsWatch with more drive than ever to be successful.
