About Me
Roy is in his second year of NAIT’s Radio and Television program. He was born in the Philippines and eventually immigrated to Canada in 2018. He is a proud Filipino, advocating against Asian hate and proudly sharing the culture that he grew up with. He finished high school in Camrose, Alberta, after which he moved to Edmonton to pursue an education at NAIT.
With the help of the Radio and TV program, he found a passion for storytelling and content creation. He hopes to be a video editor for a production company to continue his studies in video editing and create the videos he wants to make.
He is currently the media editor for “The Nugget” newspaper, in which he creates videos or takes pictures of the many moments that happen at NAIT.
When he’s not working on schoolwork, you can find him refining his content creation skills through his efforts in live streaming, writing screenplays for films he wants to make or watching video essays about any topic.
